Now, in 2021 and moving forward, we’re seeing the development and growth of virtual reality technology which will bring closer to reality the fantasy worlds we play in. I’m talking about video games based on actual VR technology.

It’s time to invest in virtual reality and mixed reality technology. Personally, I find the combination of emerging and disruptive technologies and blockchain technology to be exciting.

Especially the application to the gaming industry. Can you think of a better market to pioneer new disruptive technology? As a gamer, I’m glad that the industry is turning to VR and MR as there are many innovations that can be improved or added through this new technology.

VR offers a far more immersive experience than typical flat-screen games without taking players out of their own environment or making them sit in front of a console.

NFTs are another exciting development in the world of blockchain technology which have already been used successfully in several other popular games. Combining VR with NFTs could have very exciting results, so let’s take a look at what Revomon has to offer.

What is Revomon?

$Revo is a cryptocurrency-based monster battling, card collecting game. To give you a little background, it uses the Ethereum blockchain (utilizing the ERC721 non-fungible token protocol) to secure its NFTs (Not For Trades).

A lot can be said about the integration of blockchain technology with all aspects of life. It’s now happening in the gaming sector with non-fungible tokens (NFTs). NFTs are digital assets that are uniquely identifiable because they’re unique to each blockchain, much like your computer is unique because it has its own IP address. Tokenomics is a term that has been used a lot during the ICO mania. However, what tokenomics means, or how to break it down and apply them to projects is not often explained well.

$REVO aims to build a revolutionary platform that will satisfy the needs of both online and offline games. The plan consists of a business model based on four main principles: openness, development, scalability and evolution.

The game is designed in such a way that players who take the time to interact with the world get rewarded with items they specially request. These items are unique and there is no way other users can get their hands on these items if they do not plan the time to get them.

Revomon Latest Update

Last month, we released the 1.3 version of the game which included the first of our core pillars, the Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). Whereby, we can now see that around 1,200 NFTs were minted by players since the functionality was deployed! It was exciting to see people creating their own NFTs to serve as avatars in-game.

Currently, the game is in its 1.3 stage which allows for static item minting. The game has 5 types of items: Battle Pets; Battle Armor; Battle Weapons; NFTs (which are weapon parts to customize your battle armor); and Universal Items (Gems, which are only useful inside the game).
